Some of us have been preparing

What are we going to do when diesel fuel is to expensive or simply not available? Some farmers are preparing to handle this new dilemma, nice way of describing our countries lack of sustainability in the energy area. We have returned to some old ways that really aren’t that old- draft power.

The blessing is that both the Amish and some farmers like us have the ability to handle draft power. We already do the physical work needed to grow 2-to-4-acre of crops. Trust me this is totally hard physical work. We know what crops to raise to feed our livestock and how to harvest the crops. We also understand what crops are needed for our family to survive. We also have the horse drawn farm equipment that can be used without fuels. Some of us also grasp the amount of food our customers will need to survive the crisis we are possible heading into this winter. This is not to scare anyone but to educate.

As we expand our customer learning, we want to teach you how to prepare food without electricity or propane/natural gas. We are working hard to teach individuals and families how to fix a meal without power. Yes, some have generators, but they will eventually run out of fuel. Some can’t afford a generator. Some are just overwhelmed by this whole deal. For everyone who chooses to be prepared we invite you to join for our free emailed newsletter. What’s included: receive free quick recipes, how to pull it all together for dinner, and how to properly cook your food off the grid. How to establish a larder and much more. We also offer wholesome food for you to enjoy.
